QUESTION

What is the best Pokemon game to start with?

I'm new to the Pokemon-verse and would like to try some of them. I own a DS Lite. Which one is the best for some one new to the series to start with? I have been thinking about Diamond but don't know how I feel about that real-time clock feature. Any suggestions?

ANSWER

If you only have a DS Lite then you're limited to DS and GBA games meaning your options include Ruby
